LJ’s Quik Thru Food Truck This project was to pick a small restaurant establishment to create a food truck. The restaurant I chose was LJ’s Quik Thru, which sells American diner style food and specialty mix sodas. The restaurant didn’t have any branding, so I established a theme for them based on their original logo. I went with a new-age 80’s theme with bright colors, funky shapes, and patterns. The style of the food containers reminisces on 80's McDonald's to-go containers with up-close, geometrical imagery of the food on the top—and funky patterns wrapping around the container. The top of the container will be a funky geometrical design of whatever food is inside. For this one, it is one of their specialty sandwiches called the "Kitchen Sink Tenderloin". The cup is made of clear plastic to help with recycling so people can see the funky drink color pop out. This is the virtual menu that patrons would use the QR code on the truck to see.
